2018 Audi SQ5 Boasts Added Performance Without Sacrificing Practicality

The new 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 housed in the S4 and S5 is so good, it seems to be becoming a staple of all of the four ring’s S-line models. Most recently, it can be found in the 2018 Audi SQ5--the performance version of the bestselling CUV that also arrives all-new this year. But a full 102 ponies more than the Q5 is just the tip of the iceberg for this practical, performance family crossover.

Although lauded by reviewers on its own, you’ll want your SQ5 with the optional S Sport Package. Included is a sport rear differential that splits aft axle torque between any given wheel, and adaptive air suspension that enables 3.9 inches of customizable ride height. Drive Select is also available, and thanks to the upgraded five-link front suspension and lighter chassis, offers more variations on firmness and responsiveness than ever. As a result, you can drive your family around with this system in Individual or Comfort mode, and then kick it into Dynamic and get the most out of its 5.1-second sprint to sixty.

If you’re the kind of driver who favors crossover utility while being able to haul the kids and the family dog around with performance zest, contact our Audi dealership in Wilmington, NC. We can schedule your test drive over the phone, or tell you more about it.
