The All-new A5 Has Arrived

It's the Sportback we all know and love, just better. 

Audi has given the A5 a serious overhaul in round two of 2025, and it shows. The sleek new Sportback design replaces both the coupe and sedan, offering a clean, modern look with more utility thanks to the liftback-style rear hatch. It’s longer, wider, and lower than before, and the sharper lines and redesigned lighting give it a more aggressive stance on the road. This isn’t just a facelift, it’s a full rethinking of what the A5 should be.

Under the hood you’ll find more power and the standard quattro system. The base A5 gets a big bump in power, now packing 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque from a mild-hybrid 2.0-liter turbo engine. That’s a solid jump from the previous model and enough to make the A5 feel punchy and responsive in everyday driving. All-wheel drive is standard, as is a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that keeps the shifts quick and smooth. And if that’s not enough, the S5 delivers a 349-hp V6 that’ll hit 60 in just over four seconds.

The interior - screens, tech and comfort - gets a complete update. Audi’s new curved “Digital Stage” display is a wide OLED screen that replaces the old touchscreen and gauge cluster setup. It’s fast, crisp, and customizable, with improved voice control and smart navigation that learns your habits.
